Standing below the fall of creativity

Standing below the fall of creativity

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Believe in a line
and the verse
will take you,
no stops.

He who holds the line
will carry the verse.

A naked verse
standing alone
will be scarred
by its critics
fully clothed.

Do not cut the lines
a poem in need
of its moorings
set adrift
will be lost.
