The eclipse of life

The eclipse of life

A Poem by andrew mitchell

As age lengthens
one does not
chase the future
its distant shortens
on approaching us;
all the while
looking back
yesterday appears
to be getting larger.

Yes I see my old family albums of my past life and my mother’s albums too I have
All of them on pages our life as we knew it then once upon a time
Not to mention the thousand plus pics on my phone or puter
The days in future look smaller by the day
Loved your write very thought 💭 provoking

Absolutely correct and genuinely no one can object to this true.
I always say you are brilliant. No joke.
