A Poem by andrew mitchell

One cannot see
if eyes are not
wide open
as does one
cannot understand
if one does
not hear.

These words just reminded me of the three wise monkeys. See no evil, speak no evil and hear no evil. Loss of hearing is so isolating. You would understand nothing but your own world.
