Fear is the noose

Fear is the noose

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The fear he feels
is fear itself
through eye sockets empty
the mandible speaks
teeth chatter as
the mind swings
on anxiety thoughts,
the neck broken.
Fear is the noose
that forever tightens
its grip relentless
until you let go.

You are right my friend. In the Army. They made us climb a 500 foot tower. No ropes/ no net and you learn. You must team up to climb. It was called the confident course. Took me three times, not to fear. Thank you Andrew for sharing the outstanding poetry. I did enjoy.
