not to mention the cobwebs. that's why i keep my past well-oiled. now if i could just figure out what that sound is when the door to the future is opened ... :)

Like an abandoned home, the doors are hardly used. We can only look at it from a distance.

Perhaps the sound of a creaking door is a warning not to go there? Better perhaps to open new doors and move into the future. A meaningful piece of brevity here Andrew. All the best.
