Let me colour your world!

Let me colour your world!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Heavy is
the cross to bear
the leverage too heavy
where beliefs
are spread
naked in view
dancing around
grey lichen monoliths.
The love of the sun rises
over the bend of the rainbow
as one slides on the frown.
In the endeavour
to hear the angels sing
I sit on the cloud passing
chewing on a mushroom
smoke in hand
I reach for
the holy grail
that lies empty.

Speaks to me here Andrew of lack of faith when it comes to organised religion and worship. Spirituality is important to me as is the natural environment. I prefer it that way. Religion creates division. The cloud sounds comfortable.
