Mortality in an egg shell

Mortality in an egg shell

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In order to
not burn out quickly
we were made to
slow down.

Your life
is no more
a candle,
light your way
carefully.

Even candles are getting expensive with inflation. I like sweet-scented candles. Makes the houses smell good and evenings romantic.
It reminds me of the saying: Curse not darkness; light a candle.
