A child in time

A child in time

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The problem with today
is that it will be
gone tomorrow,
and I never had time
to live the part
I wanted to play.

When life blinked
I missed it.

When the time
you have is now
not spent wasting.

I should be thanking you not the other way around.
A reminder I think Andrew to grasp the moment and live it. I thought of my childhood and how it all now appears to be a blink in the ocean of life. I wish I had splashed in more puddles and built far more sandcastles. Your brevity is always thought provoking.
