A matter of time

A matter of time

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Death awaits us all
when one thinks
of mortality.
In the meantime
we live like
there are
no tomorrows.

There are no tomorrows promised. Nothing is surety but inevitable change. Whether the change is for good or ill may depend partly upon ourselves though. So I think it's always wise to make the best of today. I enjoyed reading this. It was short and inspiring. Kudos on the write.

A paradox, I think. I was thinking the same thoughts. Life is short, fragile, impermanent.
The afterlife is the opposite (just my belief).
You write wisely and excellently...
