In the case of Mr Spud.

In the case of Mr Spud.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Mr Spud, you have been charged
with indecent exposure.
How do you plead?
Not guilty your Oven.
Stovetop says on the night of August
you were seen exposing yourself
to carrots, broccoli and pumpkin,
in the steam compartment.
I didn’t take off my jacket! I didn’t!
Well! Who did?
I don’t know! Go ask the cook.
Kitchen utensils, have you all reached a verdict?
Yes, your Oven. Guilty!
Mr Spud, you will be mashed
until you are no more.
You will serve your sentence plated!
Take him away!

Where do these ideas come from? You have a very wacky sense of humour Andrew. It’s good to smile:)

Thanks Ken, just a bit of my warped sense of humour.
Glad I found this. Made me laugh and I needed that this morning. Much enjoyed it!

Thank you also for the smile Ladysue and giving it a go!
There's little better then humour to turn a winter shiver into a pile of Solanum Tuberosum!
Such clever rhyme, thank you
