The horizon of goodbye blues.

The horizon of goodbye blues.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The fading hello
diminishing. sinking
sunset in view
the cold of farewell
lingers clouds brooding
grey echoes rains
lightening the final
strike of goodbye blues.

Love the metaphor use and stormy imagery of your words here. Brief lines as though pain of goodbye is choking off word flow with tears. Great flow, cadence. Perfect!

Thank you Annette for your lovely words and visit.
A goodbye. Never sweet or wanted. We learn with life and final goodbye. Less goodbyes and more hellos. Powerful use of words my friend. Thank you Andrew for sharing the amazing poetry.
