It didn't matter.

It didn't matter.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The opportunistic wave
was missed,
but it didn't matter,
the next bus
was in thirty minutes.

There's no chance of that bus turning up in thirty minutes. Life just doesn't work that way. Three Buses will turn up, totally confusing you into walking home.

Thank you Paul for reading, yes life is based around opportunities some lost in hesitation.
So true.
Im reminded of the revolving fashions industry and how I should have gone into fashion designing lol - they seem to just look back at old pics and regurgitate the clothes and furniture (says me sitting on a leather armchair with long legs and brass feet like the 70's lol)

You are welcome Andrew.
Reminds the reader to grab life, the chance is said to be missed often but if something is meant to be, it will come around again, nicely done hon :)

I absolutely enjoyed this. Even though it was short, it really captured my attention. It seemed like it was going to be a whole big thing, but it was just a missed bus. Wow. I'm speechless but there's so much to say. Amazing.

Aw man. I knew I missed something. I still like to think of the simplicity though.
