When the fairmaiden is distressed, improvise!

When the fairmaiden is distressed, improvise!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

When the fairmaiden is distressed, improvise!
When success is marked
by downing her dress
conquering her heart.
Remember this Laddie!
Success is not through an open door.
So, try the cellar,
the window,
the roof, improvise!
I rest my case, but if you don't succeed,
remember.... she'll always leave
a key under the doormat.
I know! Its complicated!
Its the chase, Laddie.
The trickery lies
in chasing the flame,
having no boundaries,
that burns ye fingers trying;
while she's laughing quietly.
It's all for her amusement!
But remember this......
when the "go-gets" is yours,
its for the keeping.
Aye! It tis!
Then the fun really starts!
Be off with ye!
