Haggis lies in brass monkey weather frozen!

Haggis lies in brass monkey weather frozen!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Haggis lies in brass monkey weather frozen!
No wonder Robert the Bruce
cried out. " Freedom!"
wearing a skirt
with no underwear.
One could hear the jingle
in the dangle;
his family jewels hanging
in brass monkey weather.
To think, I came from
a Scottish background,
but, I won't be blowing
my bagpipes this freezing winter.
No! I'll sow my oats
near a cosy fire
with a fine Scottish Lass
of auburn beauty,
Malt Whiskey.
