Wanted to write something maniacal, mad, crazy, worthy of a Monty Python sketch or for Spike Milligan maybe....

In the beginning.....

Hello viewers!

I like to start my poem now!

In the beginning....

It started off as a poem

with meter and rhyme.

"A poem for you

     true blue!"

But the words of ink accumulated

and the poem became prose.

" Hi this is a prose poem 

having lost its meter and rhyme

dangles before you... limp

in free verse.

But the powers to be 

 " Change"

brought the poem of prose

to its knees;

becoming bigger, larger, disorderly,

an entertaining rant that became a story.

" Howdy! This is a story from a poem

minus rhyme and meter,

say hi to Peter, and pitter potter Pat"

Recklessly to say......

there is no substance to this story

like all my silly writes,

just shambles of nonsense

wasting your time.
