As the final votes come in

the counting now started,

cockroaches around the world

sit glued to their televisions,

not a scuttle about,

knowing all too well

depending on who is chosen,

they can survive

a nuclear holocaust.

You can hear their chanting.

"Cockroaches will rule the world."

The song   " I will survive."

now back in the cockroach charts

as number one.

We ask one cockroach.

" How you feeling Sir?"

"I had a Dream!" replied the critter.

" I had A Dream last night!"

"Wow!"

"There you have it!"

"As the World is gripped in hysteria,

  is this the end as we know it?"

" Or a new beginning!"

" The rise of the cockroach!"
