Would you make love to a poet?

Would you make love to a poet?

A Poem by andrew mitchell
"

A conversation between two middle aged ladies.

"
Would you make love to a poet?
" Have you ever wondered
  what it would be like....
making love to a poet?" says one.
" No! Certainly not!"
" Oh whoa is me as I drink
the chalice of your eternal juices....."
" What a load of bumpkins!" replied the other.
" No, not for me neither!"
" I want the Whoa as in WOW!"
" You know...this is fantastic! O this is terrific!" says one.
" Yes! Not filthy shades of ink."
" Did you say fifty?"
" Yes that too!"
" Anyway, never liked ink tattoos, never will either!"
" Me too!"

dear Andrew... You surely are intoxicating.
Ladies have to stay sober to defend our
place in poetry. Nature demands certain
protocols. Words are seductive, especially from
a poet... "Pearls and roses sweet...
Holding heart and soul closely...
Perfect love art thou". A haiku for you guys...
truly, Pat
