Waiting for an opening!

Waiting for an opening!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Waiting for an opening.
Overhead, the storm of words
reign loudly,
while the undercurrent
of my thoughts remain
subdued,
gathering momentum,
waiting to surface,
the viper strikes.

Wow...great piece. I love it.
My take is an argument? The other party screaming and words flying while you listen...wait...anger growing as your thoughts focus...until the point you strike back. Quick. Efficiency of movement. Deadly. Like the viper's strike. I love the voice in this piece. Great work.
