A grain of time.

A grain of time.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

A grain of time.
Some thought sand
was the mask
that covered
unearthed treasures.
But sand was just
a fragment of time
passing.

Very philosophical indeed!

You have written a very thought provoking piece in the space of seven short lines, no easy task!

Certainly one to think deeply about. Very impressive thoughts, Andrew.

Thank you Doodley for such a lovely review and comments. I shall return the love soon so to speak..
Interesting thought that compared to eternity, a grain of sand will exist for less time than a single blink of the creator's eye; which of course, speaks volumes for our humble three score year and ten.

This is as all encompassing in its seeming simplicity as the vastness of the Sahara.

Different to your usual writing and quite thought provoking.

Beccy.
