The financial strangler.

The financial strangler.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The financial strangler.
Of the necklace given,
mesmerising her thoughts
placed upon her neck
embracing excitedly,
together beauty shining;
the necklace in turn
strangled the buyer.

Thank you Rach for reading and the smile too!:)
If ever a man says to me, 'it's the thought that counts,' it's a sure bet he's done something on the cheap.

Having said that, I'd much rather have a thoughtfully picked daisy than two dozen hastily bought roses. :))

Beccy.

lol thank you beccy for dropping by. i shall return the love for its the thoughts that count;)
oh my, yes, we will go broke trying to please our mates and hold onto their love...
if only love was deemed priceless as in "can't put a price on it and can't put it around your neck, just your heart"

well done.
