This could also read (to me) as an old soul in this world but also age and the body faltering where the mind is active, really powerful Andrew and the brevity adds impact here :)

There's a lot of young people out there with a very mature state of mind. Which means adults and older people always disregard them, their opinions become null simply because of their age. Just because they may not hold the same experience of an elder, does not mean they have no knowledge nor power under their belts.
