The Block!

The Block!

A Poem by andrew mitchell
"

who knows if ignorance is just in the eyes of the beholder!

"
The Block!
Twas not the wall
that floored me,
blocked,
but the motives behind,
building the wall
that surprised me.

yes true ... you see the wall and you have the capacity to figure your way around it ... and then you are slapped in the face by the real intention as to why it was there in the first place ... often we are left wide mouthed and wondering .....

short and to the point ... good use of not many words - i could learn from that

;).................................
Ignorance springs from many things. Bias, misinformation and low knowledge along with wicked judgement. Building a wall is inferior to building bridges and understandings. An excellent short write...:)..........

You are welcome. ...:))))))
yes, the reasons...the motives---often the real surprise...somehow with this one i wanted to read it without the third line...but then the awkward flow blocked me in a way, so it is probably apropos to the meaning.
