Halt! Stop right there! Put your hands up!A Poem by andrew mitchella lifetime is not enough for me, i'm greedy!
Halt! Stop right there! Put your hands up!
Halt! Stop right there! Put your hands up where I can see them.
One cannot imagine the shortcomings of life bestowed upon thee. Well I do! Damn Mortality! I'm not ready! I have books to read, things to be done, family generations to see. I'm not ready! Go away will you, Time! To have me halt in such a brief manner. I have not worked hard all my life to have it frittered away by you, Time. My very existence frittered away like the flutter of some butterfly in a fleeting moment. Begone with you! Time! Damn You! Where is the Time Keeper? How dare you come to taketh away, a life so early. Be gone with you, Time! Be gone! Damn you and mortality! © 2016 andrew mitchellReviews
