Where egos tread!

Where egos tread!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Where egos tread!
They feed his ego,
temples built,
expanding his girth,
weighing heavily
on the meek.
What lies behind some egos
but heavy footprints
on those trodden,
and of egos lower
than a footprint
in the making.

What a great poem. You say so much, with so few words.
Very insightful and thought-inducing.
Love it.
