The connection.

The connection.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The connection.
Slipping on her ring,
she romanced the stone,
I nursed my wallet.
In the case of
being now equal,
but opposites attract.

Fantastic piece and cleverly done. A fine comparison between the materialistic and the generous. Opposites attract but at what cost? Or maybe they're one but on a different end of the spectrum.

A short one with a lot to chew on. Wonderfully penned. Will check more of your work!

Ah, but there's a fine line indeed especially when the focus is on a chunk of rock...is that a balance to appreciate, I wonder. Made me think :)

Very clever, hey, girls love those shiny rocks. :) Opposites attract, but they hardly ever last imho.
