Quick steps!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Quick steps!
One could not count
the steps on courting
being somewhat of
a hurried affair.

This is written in ponder and rumination, isn't it? I like how you are always looking to pack a punch in the finale of your short poems, making it unpredictable even if the first line itself starts off as a philosophical one. Nice thought Andrew. I like how you've commented on the rashness of flings and hurried affairs.

Keep writing.
Best,
M.
