Mother! What have you done?

Mother! What have you done?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Mother! What have you done?
While Mother rolled out
her canvas displayed;
a world for everyone.
Man intervened
painting destruction.
So Mother rolled out a
new canvas, refreshed.
Man no longer seen.
" Mother! What have you done?"
" Oh! Mother! You didn't!"
When the extinction
of one species saves lives!
