A Poem by andrew mitchell
"

Something different. looking for love they find a tragic heart that could speak!

"
Open inspection.
Who shall knock
on these heart walls
bleeding?
Can't they see.
The sign reads "Closed!"
Betrayed, beaten, weathered;
Not for sale!
But they continue to try
to break the beast,
their quest to conquer,
to enslave,
only to dispose of...
at their will.
Fear not this heart
which shall not engulf you
just shiver in your hold,
having been spat out before.
"Oh please, if you must, get in."
"Have a look around, see the love,
what's left."
"Take your time"
"No! Be quick!"
Open inspection.

Hi Andrew, really good poem :) I enjoy your writing style and I especially like the line "betrayed, beaten, weathered; not for sale!" It really pulls you in.
