The wrong call.

The wrong call.

A Poem by andrew mitchell
"

fictional ramblings

"
The wrong call.
When the toss was called
Heads or Tails,
much riding on the outcome;
the coin didn't fall.
Her slight give,
all take;
just didn't seem equal.
In a life's bet lost
she took all the takings,
even the coin
had a place
in her purse.

I really enjoyed this poem. She needed everything she could get her hands on. Even a coin, so small and invaluable compared to many other things. Keep up the writing!

Some people want to take and take and not give in return. They want the scales in their favor all the time so they can feel the winners. That is what I get creative poet in this wonderful poem with a message...:)...................
