The apocalypse,
the final menu
not necessarily
enjoyed by all,
but at least
nature allowed
small portions sampled
in one's life sittings.

degustation!!!! what a marvelous word ..would never had thought it has the meaning it does (had to look it up so thank you for my word for the day)
and your poem is marvelous ..my cup of tea for sure ..absolutely love it ..gone into the ol' library sir .. well thought out ..fully packed ..inspiring a careful review of my own table manners ..nice one!
