In the rearview mirror!

In the rearview mirror!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In the rearview mirror!
Driving on Life's journey,
looking in the rearview mirror;
memories, events shrink
in the distance.
A pinpoint of recollections;
 a hazy mirage.
I realise, in the event
of travelling forward,
the further I go,
the more I'm letting go.

it's hard to let go isn't it?

we have to try in order to move forward, but that is often a very slow and difficult process.

nicely expressed...
