Discarded cleverly on deceit.

Discarded cleverly on deceit.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Discarded cleverly on deceit.
When I was given
her phone number
on a piece of  folded paper,
with the promise
of not opening
'til I get home;
My initial thoughts were:
YES! YES!  YES!
However, on the back of message
 unfolded, opened
she wrote. "Wrong Number!"

ah, yes, the big tease....why not just say "no" to begin with...getting the hopes up on the A side, then dashing them on the B side.

wicked woman.

That's a harsh and mean way of expressing that one is not interested. A heartbreak upon a piece of paper or at least a crumbling positive emotion. Anticipation turned into mere disappointment.
