This is a very interestingly crafted poem, I really like the images of decay, there's a sad tone about it yet also a notion of hope in the last lines. Good one.
I like that there is so much depth to this poem. It makes one, ponder, about the impermanence of everything. To just appreciate life; living in the present. Before we know it, Autumn is upon us; Its beauty, fleeting. As fallen leaves gives way for winter. And the earth restores itself again. An endless cycle of giving. I enjoyed reading this Andrew. Well done.

Thank you my dearest friend.Always enjoy you gracing my page:);)
getting a little ahead of things aren't we?! ;) i like this ...its stated so benignly ... and starting right off with the contrast to your title is surprising and gives your poem a punch right off .. but the gentleness of fallen leaves deepening the forest floor to decay and "Giving" is so gentle to me ..peaceful ... i like the pondering you have given me this morning ..lucky to have witnessed the sunrise once again!
