A Time Bandit!

A Time Bandit!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

A Time Bandit!
I always wanted to be
the bad guy,
a bad guy hero
you know....
the one with flair
who gets the heroine
from a stage coach robbery.
" Good evening Mademoiselle"
" I'll have that necklace!"
Not Smokey and the Bandit
a tad too comical for me
Bonny and Clyde
the ending, so violent
As for mini-me and Dr. Evil?
I was over six foot tall.
Ah! Robin Hood, yes!
he was a hero
but a good deed going nowhere.
In the end, I decided
not wanting to hurt anybody,
I wanted to be a Time Bandit.
Stealing time!
I need more TIME!
Yes! A Time Bandit!

lol thank you for the smile pryde
Wise choice, my friend. Robin Hood (not good) As the saying goes: "no good deed goes unpunished" well, if I remembered it correctly lol and I could always spare some time for a Time Bandit. Stolen hours are always the most memorable.

haha yes stolen hours thanks for the smile
Lol. Fun one!
No one gets hurt this way.
What about the Dread Pirate Roberts though.
He's one that I'd like to steal a moment of time with.
