In the twinkle of her eye.

In the twinkle of her eye.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In the twinkle of her eye.
In the twinkle
of her eye
he was sent spiralling
out of the blue,
into her black.
entangled,
not able to
free himself
emotionally;
pinned by dead vines
that had overgrown
capturing, holding
emotions hurt.
his thoughts
left suspended
on thorns cutting
deep on passing.
the passion for her berries
had long gone.
