A heart of stone.

A heart of stone.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

A heart of stone.
It had to be somewhere
maybe just a hairline
to break her heart of stone.
Chip
chip
chipping away
no cracks
to be found,
they said she was
solid.......
as a rock.

yes,I get your tone of writing a bit ..
sometime we consider those things as the hardest one but may it makes its look like a stone , as the past plays a role of the toughest and unforgettable teacher...
I love the way you portrait it and Frankly speaking I get to its vibration completely after reading it twice..
wonderful!

you're welcome friend
okay Mick....."you'll never break, never break , never break, this heart of stone"

and yet, chipping away a little at a time...might be the way.
