The Intersection.

The Intersection.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The Intersection.
When the unexpected
comes knocking on your door;
in an extended handshake held,
the eye contact gaze, seemingly longer
a smile that just simmers,
a laugh that carries... in echoes sighs
You know that moment
is just out of character.
When two thoughts attracted
join momentarily,
the bond formed;
The Intersection.
And how our thoughts
continue reflecting
 lingering well after......
the acquaintance has gone.
