Driving Miss Loving

Driving Miss Loving

A Poem by andrew mitchell

        Driving Miss Loving.
         Caressing her love,
        embraced in return,
      I, the chauffeur of love,
           happy to oblige.
                   She,
      always enjoyed a long drive
            especially Sunday's.
            Instructions laid out
           according to her map,
              take the journey
                      slow.
          Meandering through her
          smooth desert highways,
          stopping here and there,
I was taken in by her scenic route
and there was no burning rubber
             I had to drive........ SlOW!
             After all I wasn't Bond
       I didn't have a license to thrill!
