Unchartered waters.

Unchartered waters.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Unchartered waters.
As the ship of souls
embarked on its final voyage
to the heavens.
The crowd waving, cheering, shouting:
      " Come aboard!"
I stood at the dock frozen;
realising the enormity of finding
a loved one passed, near impossible.
Left me in a state
of not believing.
Staying behind,
I was not ready.......
for unchartered waters.

When the time comes I shall happily board, then leave it up to the great 'navigator,' he knows the way through those uncharted waters for sure. :))

Beccy.
