The secret admirer.

The secret admirer.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The secret admirer.
It was all internal.......
never to be disclosed;
thoughts of love
thoughts of desire,
      wanting.
All living within the heart
under lock and key, chained.
Unfortunately, too late
       to unleash
        upon her
   love already taken.
How the cat in the box
       shook wildly,
     itching to get out,
       unrestrained.
     Common sense
   always had a way
    of being cruel
         but kind.
Sometimes, the cat won
     but not today.

Cats are not entirely loyal once they get bored they move on. So maybe they box won't hold it for long. ^^
