It wasn't suppose to be like this!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

It wasn't suppose to be like this!
As the wood borers bored holes
into society's fabric of morality.
The reigns started loosening
on society's hold on depravity
as the horses clicked their heels
in the breakout, free.
Gluttony carried on swinging trunks, ivory;
while wildebeest looked on dumbfounded.
Zebras paired with antelopes;
Leopards  with cheetahs, fair.
As the kingdom plummeted into rebellion,
the chaos was free for all;
vultures hovered above decaying moral grounds,
waiting.
While the anarchy persisted
the Lion, the ruler
resting on his throne
Tired of all the shenanigans commented.
 " Really!"
"We need more Sheep!"
"Sheep do as their told."
