Please don't touch what you can't afford.

A Poem by andrew mitchell
"

amusing oneself with comic intent.

"
Please don't touch what you can't afford.
Last week,
someone stole my mind.

Today they pleaded
with me
to take it back.

In reply I said
I told you so!

Not my problem.
They should have read the warning label.
Wait till they find out,
those thoughts need meds.

Thank you jacob and I too ignore labels lol.
It's not very often a title adds so much dimension to a piece, opening up other ways of understanding it for me.
Clichés abound, but used in a new way, which is clearly the intent. Not sure if you are interested in wording suggestions, but I wonder if in the last line, using "those thoughts" might add a different tone?
