Far away in corporate lands.

Far away in corporate lands.

A Story by andrew mitchell

Far away in corporate lands.
In the corporate world
of the Dung beetle;
he found himself in the dung pile,
somewhere below, in the mix.
Meanwhile, at the very top
talk was expensive,
measured in salary.
He found as one climbed to the top
the rise in intelligence
was directly proportional.
So he thought.....
or was it just being CLEVER.
He also noted the higher you are
the less work you did.
The CEO could not only talk his way out of work
but validate his worth by boasting.
As the  middle and lower order assembled
he and other fellow workers
all held hands supporting
the girth, the weight....
of gluttony at the top.
Not knowing
a civilisation was born.......
a pyramid was formed.

I really enjoyed the view the use of the ever so industrious dung beetle (one of my ultimate favorites). a wonderful poem about the working class carrying the weight for the top elite to enjoy the cream. The hint at the pyramid and the subtle suggestion of the Illuminati LOL well that's the beauty about poetry you read into it what you want. Once again a great depiction of modern corporate corruption.
