Today's parties!

Today's parties!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Today's parties.
As the party
 got going
the dance music
was turned down.
The mood lifted
when everyone
took out their phones
   and stared.
At the end
all said thanks
for the invite.
Everyone agreed
twas a great party!
The perfect catch up!

You know that's funny I read that because I was thinking about my sons going to parties these days with their school friends ... Remember we used to have games and stuff ... Even when we were older ... But now ... Geez yeah can you imagine all the little teenagers checking their phones every two minutes ... Argh ... My eldest says he will only go to really good friends parties ... Won't go to the others cos they are boring ... Our poor children ... What have we done to society ?
