The love was short lived.

The love was short lived.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The love was short lived.
There was no stopping me
Laugh out loud!
When she waved
the checkered flag.
Except for one small detail,
in all the excitement....
I ran her over!
I thought I felt a bump!
