Heaven Forbid! Naked!

Heaven Forbid! Naked!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Sitting on Ikea's furniture
Looking at the hollow log
Later, to become a television.
Adam glanced over to Eve
Doing her daily exercises.
Naked!
The somersault, the cartwheel
Hopscotch, skipping, the sprint,
The long jump, the high jump,
The javelin throw, the shot putt.
Naked!
On entering the open-
Plan lounge room
Hot, toned and sweaty.
She proceeded to
Dust and clean
Naked!
Bending over picking up
The leaf to dust....
Something happened.
Naked!
Truth be told.
Much to their delight
An erection was born.
Today, two historians argue
Which came first!
The Love or the Erection?
"The Erection came first then Love!" said one.
"Hmmmh! Sticky question!" said the other.
"The Love! "
Meanwhile, going back
Eve asked " Anything interesting on the log?"
"No! Nothing!" says Adam
" Must be the reception!"
Eve then asked. " What about the e.......?"
"Hard as.. hard as...!" said Adam

Oh my, you and your ironic, witty pieces. Well, they always make me laugh ;) What an interesting story, questioning lust or love first (?). As we're all visual creatures with the instinct to reproduce, I'd say lust.
