A love that travels over time then reachesA Poem by andrew mitchell
I lick the stamp
That carries my love, I paid, via letter. On receipt, my love Unfolds on paper My thoughts shared From love expressed In words, spread. Reaching out, embracing To be re-read, as tears Of joy from you Splash my letter, presented. On paper, my love, To you connected I'll be home soon. Noughts and crosses Submitted. I love you.
