I've started running!

I've started running!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I've started running
I'm long and slender
We'll do it together.
Just me and her. Running!
Will I get fit chasing her?

I can feel the legs:
From the thighs
To the ankles.
Can one live on legs, alone?

I toil with her
She's pulling me hard.
Like I'm running up hill
We fight!. Snip!

I'm released. I'm falling.
Scissors! I've lost!
I'm not running!
I was  ......
                   her stocking!

Running!

Thank you FT for your kind words lol
Another early morning (for moi) piece of humour as you once again take us on a jog through a convoluted piece to end up being replaced by a new pair of tights lol!
