Waves

Waves

A Poem by andrew mitchell

A wave:
The acknowledgement
I'm over here!
A new beginning
A new moment.

A wave:
A thought
Coming over in mind
New, embraced.
A thought-wave.

A wave:
The beach
Crashing splendour
A force to view
Water, the wave.

A wave:
A farewell
An ending
A goodbye.

The finality of meanings of
Waves that wave that wave on waves.

You never cease to amaze . . . where your thoughts take you is so incredible!!! Love this, for it is another of your truisms that never need saying until you say them!!! Love the final line!!!!! alf

A wave can be many things Andrew and you captured the difference in each stanza. Nice.
