A day in the snow!

A day in the snow!

A Poem by andrew mitchell
"

A true story in the Victorian Snowfields

"
From where I sit
The balcony my view
A busy day, is had
On ski slopes, snowed.

For up the slope
In awkward form
A female beginner
Will now perform.

An attempt is made
Knees together, body crouched
The Olympic Slalom
Without a doubt.

Out the trees, she shot
No strength in her knees
To straighten the legs
Down the hill twenty k's
Gathering speed.

The ride of her life, not kind
With pants around her ankles
Her white cheeks in the breeze
In hot pursuit a.....
Yellow trail behind her.

The Cardinal sin of skiing
Is not to cross your ski's
When you stop.....
To have a pee.

Funny side up
People clapped
People laughed
The spectacle of it all
Amazed, dazed.....
The snow fields stopped.

From that awkward moment
Having a pee, locked
In her room she stayed.
We never saw her ski again
I wanted to tell her.....
What a nice behind you have!
